@ Lac1927a once you get nominated they're going to send you nomination package wherein they will tell you what documents you should submit and I pay $1,850 for the processing fee $550 each for principal applicants and spouse and $150 each for children below 22 years old, in my case I have 5 kids .I included in my application my bank statement to support the funds that I put in Schedule 4. Canadian embassy of manila's medical request is dated June 24, 2011, but due to the Canada Post Strike and the letter was addressed to my lawyer at Regina, i had to wait extra longer. I finally got it today and luckily i also finished the medical today. I am praying and hoping that everything will turn out well and will receive my PR this year. God bless us all.

To: ALL - how much is the funds needed for CEM? Will it be 10,000 canadian dollars? Even, if we're already in canada as worker?

Please advice, thank you very much for the info...

@ Neng826

Just wanna ask, I think AINP asked about your pay stubs. Were you short of hours or longer hours than your contract. Mine is longer hours without overtime pay. DO you think they're gonna decline my application?
Hope you could help me. Thank you so much

@ Ladyjhen

I have some hours that are less than 80 hours and I also have more than 80 hours. If I exceed over 80 hours or 8 hrs per day they paid me for the overtime. If you have overtime agreements send it together with your pay stubs when they ask for it.

Hi Pnay, any updates yet? We almost have the same timeline, I did my medical here in Canada Aug 02, my family back home completed Aug 15. I checked my ecas now saying they started processing our papers last Aug 15.

Best of success for everyone.

To Diagne::::

I have been trying to check my ecas but it seems that i am one of those un-updated applications. My ecas still states " Application Received March 17 ". I dont know how to follow up on this one. And my application is addressed to my lawyer, which delays it even more. Right now, I have no idea what is going on now with my application. Nevertheless, I am still hopeful that my application will be approved very soon. Do you have any idea how can I update or follow up my application?

I wish I could help you give idea how to follow up your application, I was just surprised to see yesterday that they have changed my status, I read from other forums they are in the process of changing the program or system they are using at this time, might be a reason. But my application was received mar 04, where in actually when they emailed me it says it was received march 07, lol, Im pretty sure you will get your PPR earlier than me as you did medical 2 weeks before I did. Good luck to all of us!

Hi Diagne and to all:::

I received an email today from the Manila Embassy asking for my passport and fill up a form. After 4 weeks from my medical exam, they are already asking for my passport. I am pleasantly surprised of this update.

Good luck to all and God bless us all!
