What if I dont meet the minimum 40 hrs per week/80 hrs bi-weekly? Coz i only get 60 hrs bi-weekly most of the time.

Hi! I've send my AINP application last September 20 and received my file number last October 21, 2010 via email. I am a kitchen helper.

I don't get also the minimum requirements of 40 hrs per week. It depends if it's busy if not I usually get 5 hrs everyday. I average from 60-70 hours for 2 weeks.

as per ainp, the candidate must be a full- time worker. and full-time means a minimum of 80 hours per 2 weeks. Ainp will be asking for your pay stubs showing the hours worked (past 12 months) as your final requirements. if u went home for a short visit or vacay, you need to insert a letter stating that as well. there shoud be no gap between months. i guess it doesnt matter if you have, lets say 3 or 4 slips with less than 80 hours. But if majority of your stubs didnt qualify, that is questionable.

this is from this thread too. if you still have time and your employer supports the nomination let them know that you need to have at least 80 hrs per pay period to qualify as a candidate. goodluck to all!

is ubmitted my my application last september 2009 and received a file number after a month, waited for 5months for result then march they ask for additonal information or papers: employment contract,LMO,Work Permit which i already send together with my application and the last thing is they ask for my paystubs from april 2009 til march 2010 which they didn't ask for it before even with the past applicant or candidate. Unfortunately, they were unable to nominate me as i do not met the criteria of the AINP because of my working hours, they said that they have closed my file and no appeal on process...is there anyone can help to find ways and aplly for PNP..i dont know what to do.

I've already asked my employer regarding the minimum required hours and he started to give me that but minus the 30 minutes break so It's just 75 hours per payday. I've been in their company since may 2009 but it's only when I've filed my nomination that he gave me the full time hours.

Honestly, this bothers me because my employer keeps on cutting my hours to save labor cost, thats why i only get an average of 60 hrs every two weeks. What should i do now? I reviewed my paystubs and i dont have 80 hrs on any of them. Is this a hopeless case? I hope not :-(

REMINDER:

1. AINP ARE VERY STRICT IN TERMS OF NUMBER OF HOURS, WAGES AND SALARIES.
2. EMPLOYER MUST FOLLOW ALL THE DETAILS WRITTEN ON THE CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT.

MOST OF THE REJECTIONS ARE CAUSED BY NOT GIVING AN EMPLOYEE A FULL TIME JOB,
ON THE BASIS OF:
NOT MEETING THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF HOURS AND,
THE CORRECT AVERAGE MINIMUM WAGES AND SALARIES OF THEIR EMPLOYEE,
AS STATED IN YOUR CONTRACT.
AND THIS APPLIES SPECIALLY FOR THE POSITION OF:
HOUSEKEEPER AND FOOD ATTENDANT OR SERVER.

yes, please double check on what is written on your contract of employment from the work schedule as well as the correct wages based on your location.

always read the AINP requirement and procedure if your company is eligible or qualified to nominate a certain employee. :(

Until they settle the case in court, my application then can b processed. What do I have to do? I heard there is a new way for immigrant to apply PR. Does anyone familiar with that? It wa said to be on TV n newspaper couple months ago. I tried to search but ouldnt find the related issue. Any Advice or info is very much appreciated.

Thank you & Best regards,
