hello,

I had applied for AINP in December 2009 and got approved in Jan 2010.I got my file number too.So does it mean you are nominated by the province?If so how long we wait for the certificate?

once they received the application for AINP, employer file number and employee file number will sent them immediately, then we need to wait for six to eight months to process and review the documents submitted from their office. no need to call the AINP office to follow the status unless they will send a request letter in case they still need some documents on the package applications. if the AINP completed to review the applications they will send the Certificate of Nominations Letter to the company and to the applicants as well.

hello everyone

update

I received mail today from ainp.They are asking for employment reference letter stating job title, job duties and responsibilities.
but I already sent them reference latter.
Any help is appreciated ,what should i tell to my employer to change in reference letter the last one was just stranded letter.

havent heard or recieved anything from them yet. can we call them and ask them which month are they processing right now? Like, if they are processing January applicants now? its a general question anyway, not asking for the status of your application right?Last time i checked their website the processing times have increased for those who dont have a file number yet. not good news but i guess they have a high volume of application right now thats why they increased the timelines. :'( :'(

on may the 22nd they sent me employer and candidate file numbers and they requested extra documents :
Required information :
1) corporate registration :
- an eligible alberta employer is defined as a business that is incorporated or registred by or under an act of the legislature of a province or the parlaiament of canada , operating as a business that has an established production capability , plant or place of business in AB
- please provide evidence that the business is incorporated ,
2) workers conpensation coverage
- employers operating in a compulsary industry must open a workers compensation board (wcp) account when they employ regular , casual workers , or contractors
- please provide our office with evidence that the business has a WCP clearance
3 ) confirmation of employement
4) location of employment
5 ) pay records from may 1 2009 till april 30. 2010
