I am an Indian citizen. I was working in USA on H1 visa and bought a car for my use. As my visa got expired, I moved to Canada on work permit. I temporarily imported my car into Canada and registered it in BC. This car now has Canadian title, number plate and insurance.
Now I would like to sell this car and go back to India. But I was told that I cannot sell or gift temporarily imported car in Canada. The only option is to sell it to some US buyer. I cannot drive my car back to US as I don't have visa to enter into US.
Please advise me on how to sell this temporarily imported (US) car to some US buyer and how to ship this car to them. What are all the documents needed for the US buyer to register this car in US? As this car is originally from US and only temporarily imported into Canada, do we need to get any clearance from US customs.
