Hello, I am a new resident in Canada, QB. I want to open a self employment, the most simple possible, I will make under 30K per year. I already have a customer (outside Canada) that I will bill monthly.
My question is, what exactly should I do regarding the paperwork? Is it true that I don't have to register my business, I can simply create invoices for my customer and complete the tax papers next year? There are no rules regarding the invoices, what elements should they contain, I don't need a specific name, a license, nothing?
I will work in an IT related area, but I don't understand what steps should I take before starting invoicing my customer. Please help me
