Is there any way to get self employed work experience to count toward the CEC entry?
Hi 1mind,
The following link "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/cec/work.asp". Also I pasted the contents from the link. "Note: Any periods of self-employment or unauthorized work will not be included in calculating the period of work experience [R87.1(3)(b)]. A person who has worked in Canada without authorization has failed to comply with A30(1), and on that basis could be found inadmissible under A41."
Even, I have 5 months of self-employed experience. Which I couldn't use for CEC
.
For self-employment, the employer will ask you to file your taxes by yourself and you work at your location, not at the employer's location. Do you fall under the above-mentioned things?
