How long does it take to find out the outcome of self employment cases for Canadian permanent residence?

- Has the officer's case been changed from 24 months to six months? Is this news correct?

-Did I hear that Mr. Justin Trudeau Prime Minister of Canada has reduced the time for these types of applicants?

There is no self-employed stream under express entry. There is a self-employed stream, however it is for mostly for artists and athletes.

Under express entry, self-employed experience can be counted as long as it is foreign work experience, not Canadian.

British Columbia is starting an "entrepreneur" stream as a pilot project in 2019, so that would be for self-employed people (but has nothing to do with express entry). Other provinces also have entrepreneur / business investor streams (ON, NB, MB, NS...)

Is there an annual allocation cap for self employed program? Doesn't seem to be that popular, wonder if it's because this stream's approval rate is low?
