Self-Employed Application 2021

We landed at Toronto Pearson Airport last Friday. It was very easy. We were only asked for our COPR document and passports. Then he asked if we had any criminal convictions or any more dependants. He also asked if we had any cash with us (we said no, credit cards only). We then had to give an address for the PR cards to be sent to. We signed the forms and that was it. There were also some helpful people who gave us a lot of info about landing and we were able to get our Social Security numbers straight away at the airport. Good luck everyone. We waited four years and finally it feels like a celebration. I hope you get your dream too.

I am really happy for James and really glad that they get the reward of their waiting for this journey and got the final positive news.. However, I really don't understand that I applied at the same time as James but I haven't got any update even though I have paid all the fees and submitted all the documents on time and yet no update from the IRCC and its really frustrating to see that they are not bothering to inform us the reason of delaying our files and not giving any solutions.
if anyone have any theory that why they are delaying our files then please tell me so that we can work on that step to understand this concept.

hey so he haven’t received any medical request and yet he received PAL so is he already in canada or given medical for any other program which is valid and that’s why they haven’t asked for medical request… and from which country he applied for Self employed PR?

So let’s start brainstorming that what could be the reasons of delay in 2021 applicants and yet many are receiving updates??

how many of you guys who applied in 2021 have received any update and what was the last correspondence from the IRCC you received ?? Please do share so that we all can understand the issue here…

I really don't know about other years group but particularly in 2021 group majorly applicants are getting updates but its getting delayed as many have got AOR in 2021 group but not getting updates after that so that's why I asked for applicants who haven't received update yet please share your timeline and if you got the update then what was it...

You can check timeline in signatures. But I think they are processing 2021 files now. Many from this group has gotten updates and that's the reason m keeping my hopes up.

and I know they are working on 2021 files but if you see that they have provided AOR to 2022 applicants as well but they are not giving updates to 2021 files...

yes that's what I am saying .. that I got my AOR in Mar,2024 and applied in July,2021 and yet I got AOR only... nothing else..

I still don’t understand it, really. I thought all applications were processed in Sydney, NS, but then found out mine was being processed in London, UK (because I am British, although did apply from Netherlands). So they must have sent my application to the UK office eventually based on my passport?

Is Canada better than London and Netherlands? Just asking for Info.
