Awesome! Congrats to you! Gives me a little hope, at least they're being looked at!Hi, everyone. I just received my AOR today. I sent in our application last Decemer 22, 2020. I also received a temporary UCI.
Thank you! Yes, this has given me great hope too. Things are speeding up, it seems.Awesome! Congrats to you! Gives me a little hope, at least they're being looked at!
Did you mean December 2019? Was yours a paper application? Also, what processing location did you send yours to? (So sorry for the barrage of questions!)
Hmmm, I submitted mine at the beginning of November to Sydney....so hopefully my temporary AOR will come soon!!Thank you! Yes, this has given me great hope too. Things are speeding up, it seems.
No, not 2019. I submitted our application just last month, before Christmas, on Dec. 22. No worries with the questions. I sent our application to CIO in Sydney.
And yes, it was a paper application for the Federal Self-Employed class.Awesome! Congrats to you! Gives me a little hope, at least they're being looked at!

It’s a temp number. It’s stated in your letter that this set of temp info cant be used for linking up gckey account.Wait a minute. I got kind of confused back there. They did already include an actual UCI in the letter. What's temporary is the application number. I thought they were one and the same, but apparently they're not.
Tried linking my paper application using the actual UCI they gave me, but encountered an error message "UCI required." So it seems that because the application number is temporary at this point, it also impacts the UCI.
That's right. Will be waiting for the next update from them, hopefully with the actual application number. It’s a temp number. It’s stated in your letter that this set of temp info cant be used for linking up gckey account.
the NOC for graphic designer should be 5241At a very preliminary stage where I am considering applying through self-employed program. The website says person can apply if they have -
Any clarity on what is considered a cultural activity? Do occupations such as graphic design considered valid?
- taken part in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level or
- been a self-employed person in cultural activities or athletics
Also is this program easy to apply to ? Or is getting a consultant on-board critical? I already have the IELTS & WES cleared for EE application last year. In which case is it possible to go ahead and apply to self-employed on your own?
There is a duration around 3 years I guess you should be involve din those activities. Yes graphic design is fine. Just spend more time with it reading around and you will get everything. YOu wil have some doubts ask community here. Dont spend on consultant if you can manage on your own. I did not and few others I know. Use the link send teh docs nicely filed.
