Hello everyone I am a dance artist and I have applied for SE In 2019 in canada
Here is my timeline:
March 8th sent application
April : AOR received

after that nothing, it says it’s 7 months left but really have no ideia what’s going to happen.. I see some of you have so many updates and applied after me.
Any thoughts?

Dear all,
Please help.
I am unable to submit the application as only the IELTS exam is pending,
I would like to know if anybody else applied without the IELTS score and got through?
The score without the IELTS score comes around 65
and is there an option to submit the IELTS score in the middle of the application process once this COVID becomes better?

Some pals here did submit their applications without IELTS results.

I doubt if it can be treated like the pending docs for EE stream - but if you want to give it a try regardless, read the 'If you cannot get a police certificate in time' session here and see if you are comfortable with doing the same with your IELTS:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

But TBH, it seems that the process has been significantly slowed down due to COVID 19... maybe you can wait until IELTS has resumed.

Any other thoughts?

Yes, better wait till IELTS resumed.

But as per CIC website most place have started IELTS depending on the country, I suggest to check the CIC website or IDP/British council

hi JaunRaza..its my humble request if you share one by step from A to Z..i am newbie here.. living in Saudi Arabia.how can i start my process for self employed or start up visa.. thanks in advance

Hello guys! Please can anyone furnish me with some info on the adaptability criterion for the self-employed visa in a case of single mothers. That means they cannot get any point based on "Spouse or common-law partner’s level of education". Yet, they have no "Previous work in Canada"; no "Previous study in Canada"; and no "Relatives in Canada". In essence, if a single mother gets no point at all on the adaptability criterion, but has well above 35 in total (say 60) from the other criteria (education, experience, age & ability in English and/or French), can she still be considered eligible? Put in another way, what are the chances of a single mother getting the self-employed visa if she gets zero point on the adaptability criterion but gets high points from the rest?

getting 0 adaptability point has nothing to do with eligibility as long as the applicant has a total mark above the passing mark (currently at 35/100).
