Please note I am not IRCC consultant and these are my thoughts based on the questions asked:
There are
three things the officer is looking for clarification and additional evidence:
1. further evidence of your ability to meet the definition of a self-employed person
2. including evidence of your previous ability to earn a self-sustaining income through self-employment in cultural activities or athletics
3. A detailed and specific plan indicating how you intend to become self-employed in Canada and how your contribution to cultural activities or athletics would be significant, along with any additional supporting evidence that you wish to submit
For questions 1 & 2, in order to prove, I assume you would have provided the reference letters, company details.
- Did you provide the billing/invoices, confirmation payment receipts (can be a cheque, online payment, paypal or any other money transfer systems)
- Invoice and payment receipt is an easy way to prove that you are not employed
- did you provide evidence that the company is yours and you filed taxes as self-employed or business owner
- Sample work done as self-employed, if you are a graphic designer, then did you provide a portfolio?
- Does your reference letter is on the letterhead, name, signature, date, client address, and phone number - can they verify if needed
- Do you have some email evidence that you have raised an invoice or submitted hourly rate
- Have you explained how you were self-employed in Dubai and how you were making money for living? (how to get new clients or project or work)
- Question 3:
- Did you remember what you have put in Sch 6A. Question 11: -> this matters a lot
- You can do a business plan and explain what you do and how you expect to make money?
Please note these are my opinions based on my analysis and thoughts based on the officers ask.
Thanks,
Nataraj
