No, they didn't ask me for photo updates. They used the same photo I submitted with my application.Hi leavingonjetplane - did they ask you for photo updates for your PR card? If so, did you have to mail that photos in or to drop them in an office?
Hope you are doing fine man.

Hi, can I please PM you?No you do not need to have been self employed to qualify for this stream. I should know. I immigrated using this very stream despite not having been self employed even for one day. The requirement for people without self employed experience is that you need "2 one-year periods participating at a world-class level in cultural activities". That's directly from IRCC list of requirements here.
That said I struggle to think how a librarian can provide proof of being 'world class level'. I guess karenn1617 will have to think deeply how they can convince IRCC. Or someone who has immigrated as a librarian may be able to chip in.
Not sure why I can't get messages. I've looked at the settings and looks fine to me but replied to your email already.Thanks.. I'm getting an error when trying to PM you here.
It's Ok, I sent you an email on your website.
Many thanks.

Do you have a Canadian related business?
Have you conducted a business visit?
Can you elaborate on your individual application conditions?
I don't think it's a good idea to staple them. In fact, the instructions clearly say not to staple them or bind them in any manner whatsoever. I understand that this may cause some inconvenience and/or anxiety - it certainly did for me. I still went ahead and stacked up the unbound sheets in the specified order, inserted them in an envelope, shot a quick prayer to the heavens that the stack somehow doesn't get messed up later in the process, and sent it to the Immigration office, with the temperament of an anxious parent who lets go of his or her child on the first day of school.Hello
A question for those who have submitted their application already:
How was your paper based application documents packaged? Loose papers in an envelope? Stapled together in sections? In a binder or flip file?
