Not at all, and didn't want to be mean or something - I appreciate you're trying to help!
What I meant is that your answers wasn't "enough precise" regarding my questions.

Let's try to explain myself - sorry for the long message - and you know, english is not my native.

For example, you're saying that I have to put "Self employed income or any other you have" at the line Asset - Business in IMM0008 Schedule 6A. What do you mean by any other asset I have ? I mean, the whole page is about Asset so I have understood that I will have to list all my asset, but I was asking specifically about the Business line. And the fact I was wondering if I should list my self employed income at that specific line was because I may think this line is about "big business" like a "real" company / corporation or something, you see ... ? Because if I should actually list my self employed income here, what means the column "% owned" or "current book value (net assets)" -> this is something I've never heard about as self employed...

Or, my question regarding the english proficiency in IMM0008 Schedule 6A was more about : if I haven't passed the IELTS, should I leave this part blank or fill only the french proficiency part ? What about leaving a blank part.... ?

Or Accumulation of funds in IMM0008 Schedule 6A - my question is more about how do we know what period of income we should list here, when to stop ? I mean, a lot of people save money on savings every day, and sometime you take money from your savings, then you put some back, etc... How to know if I need to list the income I had in 2012 for example, and not 2011 and before ? Should we give a precise list of all our yearly income since we've started to work in our life - because somehow, this money on our savings come from the income we got in the past...but everything is "mixed" together. Well - this one is very tricky to understand in my mind... and I don't want to make any mistake here which may delay my application - I am in a very difficult situation.

Or my country of residence in IMM0008, I obviously know that it is Canada, my question was more about - should I put the date of the first time I've landed in Canada (August 2015 - holder of WHV) or the date of start of my current status in Canada (August 2017 - OWP / Spouse's CWP). In term of immigration documents, sometimes that kind of details/subtlety have importance.

Hope I'm clear - and thanks again!

'Evasive' as in this meaning ->"tending to avoid commitment or self-revelation, especially by responding only indirectly."?
I really hope that's not what you mean.

Yes you are right about official language, I just checked again. This means you can use your TEF. So what seems to be the issue? If you have not taken IELTS then unfortunately you cannot claim any points for English proficiency as the result is your proof. Except you want to say you are proficient then explain in your LOE that you just didnt take the IELTS but you communicate in English. The outcome of that is at the discretion of the visa officer I guess.
I meant : should we kind of self-evaluate ourself here ? It's not actually about points, I have enough points, but it's just about answering all questions asked...

Yes you are clear and I am more than happy to help.

So on the business form I included all funds in my personal and business accounts. In my case I actually have a registered company so all funds related to the company and my personal funds including my spouse's I lumped to get the total net asset. You can go ahead with how you planned to do it, all your self employed assets, its fine.

For the language proficiency yes please complete only the french bit, I did same too with just the English as I don't speak french. You have nothing to worry about.

Accumulation of funds: indeed I included all our income from when we both started working after university till time of application. I listed the annual income, company names and period.

Your residence should be from when you first landed, so it should be 2015 and not 2017.

Thank you Nornor.
As for the Assets > Business part (part D in the IMM0008 6A), I just thought about it and told myself : why should I put anything here ? I mean, I might have misunderstood this part because this is actually, IMHO, not the place I should list all my income as self-employed since I will have to list them in the Accumulation of funds narrative, right ? As a self-employed, I don't have any business that is an asset by itself, right, the money I am paid will go on my accounts and tax and that's it ?

Also, which part should I list my Retirement plan (RRSP) and my Life insurance in ? Part E - Pensions and Other Assets ?
Oh, and have you applied under Self employed stream ?

You are right. For the business part, just state everything you own as a family and then use the narrative to explain how they were accumulated. Then yes the retirement plan should be included in the pensions part. You are quite a detailed person I can tell, you will be just fine and hopefully get your PR sooner than expected.

Thanks again Nornor!
What do you mean by "everything you own as a family", any example ? I'm not sure what you mean exactly.
And you haven't answered, but are you applying under SE ?

So on the business form you are required to provide your bank account balances and also details of any properties (mortgaged or not) that you own. All of these are not limited to business owned assets. That's what I mean by everything you own as a family. In my case I listed properties owned, dates of purchase, value on purchase and current market values. Yes I have applied under SE and awaiting AOR

OK I got that but when I was initially asking about the Business part, I was talking about this part in the whole document (see image) - that's why I wondered why you were saying "For the business part, just state everything you own as a family", see ? ;)

Oh my apologies! I see what you mean now. So if your business has any assets you include it there, if not I guess its basically to calculate how much your business is worth in cash. Otherwise your LOE like you mentioned earlier should be just fine. For example a church organist may not be able to fill out that part like a fashion store owner will be able to. So individual situations differ and should not be a setback.

Hi,
Thank you all for creating and maintaining this helpful forum.

My friend who is an artist and designer wants to apply in self employed category and he meets the criteria but he was employed or had a contract for three months with a major company and they insured him(kind of shows he was employed). does it effect his chance of getting accepted?
he was self employed for more than two years but the contract was in the duration of last 12 months.
I hope I explained well enough :)

I dont see an issue here...I mean no part of the requirement says you cannot take up contracts but it does say you must show sufficient evidence of self-employment. If his 2 years experience can prove his claims of self employment and he is able to convince the VO that he is willing to continue that in Canada then I don't think he has much to worry about.

No, i still haven't received AOR. Every day i'm checking every single folder of my mail, but there is no answer. It drives me crazy. I'm trying to find a way to contact the centralized intake office in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
