Hello,
I have been employed on a work permit with LMO (NOC:0651) since June 13, 2012 (Valid until Jun 13, 2013) Recently, I've been contacted by another company with a job offer. They want to hire me as soon as possible, and will start the procedure of LMO application. NOC will probably remain the same, and the wage offer is way more than my current employer.
Here's the question. Since I'm currently employed in Canada, would it be difficult to obtain a positive LMO, or would it not matter if I'm being hired or not? Should I quit the company before I my prospective employer send application? And how long will my LMO application take to be processed? (I understand the processing time varies depending on NOC)
I'm sorry to bombard you all with questions. Hope to hear answers from any kind people in this forum
