Seeking Appeal

My Immigration Lawyer sent me a letter received from CIC in connection with my file. Unfortunately my application has not been accepted for lack of points. I got 65 and the passing mark is 67.

To reconsider our application he said that the only remedy is an appeal to be lodged in Canada.

I asked for an advise how we would go about the appeal process. Unfortunately the only remedy is an appeal to be lodged in Canada.

The appeal takes place in Canada and I have to hire a lawyer in Canada who will be representing me. Based on his experience he mentioned that in this matter the rate of success is very slim.

I was so upset because I applied Sept. 2006 and after a long period of waiting my application had been refused.

I will really appreciate for anyone who can help me on this matter. Thanks.

You may reapply under new system and before applying be sure that you can score 67. You can enhance your points by pulling up your IELTS score and also by proving any additional qualification. Don,t be upset
