Hi I am Canadian citizen. My family (2 sisters, one nephew and my mother) is still live in Iraq. I want to bring them to Canada. They have been subjected to different kind of sectarian violent and most recently my family house back in Baghdad has been hit by a rocket which almost killed my entire family (I have video from one local tv channel and pictures shows how my family was lucky to escape that rocket).

I have had enough and I want to help them to come to Canada. All my family members (sisters, nephew and mother) have been suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, phobias and ocd as a consequence of what they have been subjected to. I would like to apply for them to come here under humanitarian program. Not sure how to start, any help would be very much appreciated. My 2 sisters are very well educated (in their 40s) and my nephew is going to graduate with computer degree this summer (but he has been sick since the rocket attack on my family home in March. I am Canadian live in Ontario, have a job and pay my taxes.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have no experience with anything like what you are facing, but I went through the CIC and found the following OP manuals that may contain some answers for you.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op05-eng.pdf
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/ip/ip05-eng.pdf
A25(1) Humanitarian and compassionate considerations, and R307

This may be a case that you should discuss with a reputable lawyer for advice. I am sorry that your family has been forced to face such trauma and hope you are able to bring them peace soon.
