Security Screening

Hi,
Dear all,

I submitted my EE application on Oct 18, 2017.
Yesterday, I called CIC and the agent told me my Criminality and Eligibility are passed. Currently my security checks are in process. He also told me that first step of security checks is done! and I can call in the middle of July to get updates on my application progress.
Two things I need to ask you:
- The agent asked me to call again in a month from now, does it mean anything?
- What is the first step of security checks that he said was done!? Does it have anything to do with CBSA???

What was the outcome of your application? From your information, I guess that CSIS completed its investigation then and handed over to CBSA.

My SS and everything was passed Nov 2018...but still my application (EE FSW) has been On Hold for over 7 months for administrative review and verification.

When is your AOR? How long did your SS last? What is administrative review? never heard of it

My AOR was May 2018.
I do not know how long SS lasted as that portion is redacted, gives no info. Next comes Criminality, which was passed on 5Nov2018.
In my experience, the reason department gives for why a delay is being caused can be anything like:
1. Admin review or 2. Further review required or 3. Further verification required ...or anything like that. Its just a general reason given without any information in it.
