SECURITY Checks delayed! Government organization

Hello members!

I need help... My security and background checks are in progress since Oct 2016. SInce then I havent heard anything about my case. I want to know is there anyone who faced/or facing same situation due to affiliation with govt organization? Please reply and discuss the matter. I want to have idea about rough timeline . When can my security checks be completed?

I have the same situation. They asked me for my police four days before I got my AIP in november. It took me three months to get my police. So I sent then my police record a month ago via case processing enquiry and I haven't heard from them since.

If you guys are facing such issues then things you can do is:
1- Mp Enquiry- call them, take an appointment, visit on the scheduled date & explain yur case.
2- Do enquiry through Web forum..
3- Make an enquiry on delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca (if yur file is with NDVO)

In all the above cases, explain them n provide yur all details and make them understand that yur filr had already exceeded 1year.. they vl definitely help yu..

Tried the IRCC web form already (that where I submitted my police) and it said they won't reply until my 26 months is up

Security and background are completely dependent on individual factors, so there is no set time. They can take weeks, months or even years.
