Security check for work permit

Hi guys,

My GSS work permit application started on April 2021, but got pulled for security check. No idea how long it will take. Anyone same please connect here.

I am also in same boat. Applied in april. Recently received a reply for my webform that they are currently conducting some background checks

I never requested GCMS notes so I have no idea what exactly happened with my application.

However, last month I received request for additional documents (related to my kids) from visa officer. I believe request for additional document at this stage might be indication that my personal application eligibilty has already passed. and I assumed this background check they are conducting is related to the recent documents that i submitted for kids.

Anyways, waiting for the decision and if anything, I will update here
