Secondary clearences.

This is what they are saying after emailing them:

"Your application is currently being reviewed for secondary clearances. Delays during secondary clearances are out of our control as we are required to coordinate with external authorities. As such our office is not able to provide you definite time frame for finalisation, however, we will contact you as soon as the review is completed, or as soon as more information, documents or an interview is required. Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all applications."

Is it a good sign or bad? Please do let me know if anyone faced this situation or not. And if you did, how many days did it take you to get the visa or did it get rejected?

Just to find out, How long did your secondary clearances last and from which visa office was your application processed? because my application is currently going through secondary clearances too. Was the visa approved for you after the secondary clearances?
