Secondary clearance processing time (applied on 6th May, 2019)

I have applied for my study permit application along with my wife's owp on 6th May, 2019 from VFS Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Here is my visa timeline:

• Reached Singapore: May 8, 2019
• Review Started: May 14, 2019
• Medical Passed: May 14, 2019 (UF)
• 1st Ghost Update: May 28, 2019 Noon
• 2nd Ghost Update: May 29, 2019 Morning
• 3rd Ghost Update: May 30, 2019 Morning
• 4th Ghost Update: June 7, 2019 Morning
• 5th Ghost Update: June 7, 2019 Noon
• 6th Ghost Update: June 10, 2019 Morning
• 7th Ghost Update: June 17, 2019 Morning

My wife's visa timeline:

• Reached Singapore: May 8, 2019
• Review Started: June 11, 2019
• Medical Passed: June 11, 2019 (UF)

As there was no change in the application status, I made a case specific query to IRCC webform asking about my application status. They told me that my application is in the secondary clearance.

I have seen many applicants applied after me and already got their visa. As I am fully funded I thought my application process would be faster.
Here is my profile:

• B.Sc.: 3.52/4.00
• IELTS: 7.00
• Fully funded

They have already contacted one of my banks for verification on June 7th, 2019 and the bank replied on June 10th, 2019.
Do they verify every bank statements or some selective bank?
How much time does it take to complete the secondary process?

I emailed IRCC on 17th June asking about my application status.

Today I got a reply saying "Please be advised that your application is currently pending officer review. Our office will contact you if any further information or documentation is required from you."

Does that mean my secondary clearance is completed? and how long will it take to get a final decision?

Any update regarding the matter? I am also having the exactly same issue. My wife and I applied on 14th may, now my application is in secondary clearance. Got one ghost update on 23rd june.

No update brother Don't know why is it taking so long.
Did they contact your bank?

I am trying to contact my bank about this matter. Did your bank notify you that ircc wanted your bank info?

No they didn't. I asked them if the embassy contacted them.

Today I got my visa approval
Received correspondence letter: 2nd July, 2019.
GC Key approved: 3rd July, 2019

congrats. i applied on november 18. My classes begin on 6th january. And today it shows Secondary clearance. I feel totally Frustrated. If i miss my classes in january, i will have to wait till september!

I have completed my Biomatrices on 11th July but not yet update and when I was asked to the authority reply is My Biomatrices "Currently pending for Secondary clearance"-Don't know why is it taking so long.
