Hello guys, I submitted my study permit application in May 18, I gave my biometrics on May 24, on May 25 I got an email from IRCC that they have sent me a message in my application and I found a refusal letter there. It says:
"I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable)."
And now exactly 24 hrs later I got another email from them with subject: "We updated your application status" and saying "Your application status has changes.". I checked my account, but nothing has changed. Can someone share their ideas or experiences, please? Your help means a lot.Thank you.

My program is for 4 yrs. My yearly tuition fees plus other expenses is 51,056 cad. I provided my parents as my sponsor (bank statement of my mother's account with 3 months transaction which has 133,285 cad and 3 lands in my father's name with their asset valuation letter of 1,000,000cad). I didn't pay tuition fees, I only paid 300cad registration deposit fee. And yes I am going to Canada alone.

You should have paid tuition for first year. Land is not cash. If total for 4 years is around 200k and it is all parents money where is the other 70k coming from?

I thought they refused because I provided transaction for only 3 months since I saw that it was enough to show funds for one year.

I am planning to apply again, and fortunately I won a sponsorship from a private company of cement wholesale in my country. And also a family friend with very sufficient finance is willing to sponsor me and help me through out my stay in Canada. Which do you think is better choice to provide? Thank you.

No. You are in a 200k or more program so you need to show where all that money is coming from. Your parent’s current funds show that they are spending all their savings on your education.

Neither are family so pick the company or friend who will pay for your tuition up front. Will the company give you a scholarship paid to you to support your studies? Show that they will pay you xx amount year and that first installment paid to your account. How will family friend, who is not family, help you? IRCC may not consider friend because person can stop support any time.

What do you mean by first installment paid to my account? Can't they pay directly to the university per semester?

They said they will provide me with the letter that explains why they are sponsoring me, awards from the government for paying high amount of taxes, their bank statement, and assets. What other documents do I need?
And if I apply soon, is it okay?

So what is this company giving you? What do they get out of it?

Excuse me what do you mean what is this company giving you? Do you mean other than paying for my studies?

They used to offer different funds for children for their education, and now after seeing my application they decided that investing in my education is contributing to the society. This will be one of their volunteer contribution to the education sector, so I don't know what to say to your question what do they get out of it.

How much is the company giving you in scholarship money? Well they will be providing a letter that they are funding your studies. You need to show proof of the funds from the company. When Canadian get scholarships it may come in the form of a cheque or direct deposit. Or they can pay your tuition and also provide living expenses.

They are covering my tuition fees. I will know in the next days if they will also cover my other expenses. And I am considering putting my family as my sponsor regarding the other expenses, what is your perspective toward this?

Okay showing their direct deposit to my account is one option, should the deposit be what I need for whole 4 yrs?? Any other options here?

Pay first year tuition, and submit company documentation that they will deposit xx amount at a certain time with the first deposit before you submit your next application. It is amazing you got the full funding approved from this company in a day.

Okay. Is it better to show my family as the ones who are covering my other expenses?

Oh does it seem skeptical? The selection was in the process, the results just came out at the right time.
