Guys he deferred from May to September...he wrote in twitter.. He applied on March before the closure of VFS in SDS category.

defering does not effect eligibility unless dli/course is changed. And ofcourse he defered, back then there was no visa or even hint of a visa processing. Everyone who was enrolled for May defered to September, cant be a reason for refusal.
Besides defering is normal even before Covid, and does not effect study permit as has been verified by IRCC on their twitter.

On the other hand refusal after AIP has happened before too, this isnt the first case.
