Second Request for Fingerprints

Hello,

I will like to know if anyone has ever received a second "Request for fingerprints", if so, how long would it delay the process?

I applied in Feb 2011 for the citizenship, then a year after, I got a request for fingerprints, that was like march 2012, then last year a request for all the info I already sent before again (Visa, Passport, etc...), Today July 3, 2014, I got yet another request for fingerprints... I am really upset to say the least... and cant find anyone that had the same experience...

Does anyone knows anything about this?

Fingerprints are only good for one year. If CIC doesn't make any decision on your file and if you file is still in process for that one year then your Fingerprints expire and they can ask you again for fingerprints

Hi Oluzardo I'm in the same boat. I applied for my Citizenship on December 2011 . On July 2012 they sent me a letter for fingerprints Request. On July 22/ 2013 i wrote my test and i passed it. On my interview the cic officer told me i was done. and i was suppose to receive a letter to take the Oath in 1 or 2 months. In August 2013 i got a letter for fingerprints request again almost one year passed and i still waiting. i called them and they said they didn't receive any result from RCMP. 2 months ago i contacted the RCMP and they sent me an email letting me know that my process was complete by December 24/2013 and they sent it to CIC in scarborough.
