hi,
i applied in December 2014 for FSW under NOC 2133 (electrical engineer), however, is it possible to file another application under express entry under another NOC category while my first FSW application is under processing, as i have telecom engineer experience for 6+ years.

thanks in advance

Hey

No. you're only supposed to have one profile at a time. Also, why bother? You should just put in the profile that gives you the highest CRS points - that's all that counts. There are no longer any MI NOC lists, and sounds like your occupations are both skill level A. So just choose the one you have most experience in.

Don't listen to JohnnyCanuck.

You absolutely can create an EE and FSW profile. Just search the FAQ for Federal Skilled Worker - they have an answer that confirms this.

YES,
Once you apply WITHDRAW the previous one.You might not get refund of the previous application fees. However, on a covering note mention that you had applied for EE and mention file no./ref no. of EE.
If your previous application has not reached REVIEW stage then generally they refund the fees.Good luck.

Hey

Sorry for the misunderstanding

You CAN submit an EXpress Entry profile and have a FSW 2014 application at the same time.

You CAN't have two EXpress Entry profiles at the same time.

IRPA 10.1(5) 0
(5) A foreign national who has submitted an expression of interest may not submit another one before the expiry of the period referred to in an instruction given under paragraph 10.3(1)(f).

hope that clears it up

Why would you say this? Why would he have to Withdraw an application?

He will only have to withdraw at the VO stage, because he obviously can't have two visas. But before the final stream, he may have as many applications as he likes: FSW, EE, QSW, CEC if he fits...
And they don't refund fees if the application has reached them. EE FAQ is very clear about this.

Stop misleading people if you are not sure of what you are saying. -1.

I'm not guessing. I know what I'm talking about.

Read this to confirm what I'm saying, on CIC's official website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2014-12-01.asp#30
