Those who got letter on 6 not less than 5.5 in one module and paid the fee..even got receipts from college..gic paid...all this before sds being launched..now which category they would be eligible old rules or new rules..?

does not matter whether you apply the regular process or SDS, 5.5 in any module is always risky.

I have only seen 2-3 cases but their academic grades were very good.

no..one student got visa 58 in graduation 5.5 in two..rest I know it's not applicable for everyone..but Canada is unpredictable at present
