SDS vs NON SDS visa success rate

Is it true that NON-SDS visa success rate are less compare to SDS? I am planning to go with non-sds earlier but after watching several youtube videos I am getting confused whether I shall go with sds or non sds. I have written PTE test not IELTS where my score is more than 79 in each section.

Thanks for your quick reply. Can I apply under SDS with PTE test? few consultants told me I can apply under SDS with PTE whereas rest other said no. Can't conclude whether I am eligible for SDS with PTE or not?

With SDS, there is less likely that the VO would censure you based on financials. Rest would be the same I guess.

It's true that SDS is faster than Non-sds but success rate is not one of the point for both category, I have seen so many acceptance in Non-sds, whereas many refusals in SDS. It all depends upon your profile.

For example, my friend had 7.5 overall band, GIC plus upfront medical, he applied under Non-sds category because he only paid 1 semester fees and got his visa within 1 month.

I have approved study loan of 50k CAD plus I am showing 20k CAD savings from my spouse account. Under both scenarios(SDS or NON-SDS) I'll show same financials. Apart from that Can I apply for SDS with PTE test?

Did your friend apply for non-SDS from India? Did he get his passport stamped?
