If a university student pays the 1yr Full Tuition Fee+GIC...and satisfies the 4 clauses of New proposed SDS method.

There is one doubt regarding showing the Financial Stability.
Does the Student need to show the Source of Funds for 2nd Yr Tuition Fee..Same like the General method by Loan/FD/savings????

Is it enough to pay the first semester fees for a TWO year course and having a GIC of $10,200.00 to be eligible to get the visa in the SDS or do we need to pay the first year fees completely in order to get the Visa, please advise.

Paying first year fees in full is required for increasing visa chances under SDS. Otherwise your application will be processed under general category, CIC has clearly mentioned this.
