SDS - Lodged Jan 2021, no update since.

Many applicants who applied in Dec & Jan did not receive the submission confirmation letter due to some technical issues at IRCC. However, they have resolved the issue from their end and started issuing the same from 4th Feb. Hopefully everybody will receive the AOR next week.

Nothing, until and unless you are requested to upload any missing or additional document.

You are lucky. You applied in Jan 7 2021 and your medical is updated in Feb 17 means after 41days. I also applied on 29 Jan but my medical is not updated yet. Normal pattern what I am seeing is medical being updated in 40-50days. Hope your AIP would come fast.

There will be no AIP's for applications that are filed after Dec 15, 2020. So, it should be a normal process for us.

Are you saying that Applications submitted after 15 Dec 2020 would directly get PPR instead of AIP first?

Yes. we get PPR. AIP is done like my friend @akhilmunagala said.

Hope receiving AIP instead of PPR is not a sign of refusal. When AIP itself says approval in principle, it should not be rejected on PPR stage.
