I am waiting too bro, no updates at all… prepare to defer to next intake. Have you requested ATIP or GCMS notes to check details? I doubt it might undergo security screening.

Yes, you can order ATIP to track the status while it’s being processed. I think it’s very likely you will get approval. just keep waiting with patience.

Probably they are doing screening as i have visitor visa refusals 4 times earlier.

I think we are in similar situation.
First application was rejected after 1 month and reapplied immediately with different SOP.
Second application with SDS timeline as below
File lodged on 1 Dec 2022
Medical exam passed on 8 Dec
After that, no any updates till today.
Sent a few webforms, got one decent reply which was addressed to me specifically, said "the application is still in progress, complex applications take longer to process", but nothing happened after that reply then.
I am very anxious now, hope it will be approved before April as I am May intake, seems nothing can do but keep waiting now.

Hello there, just want to share that I got PPR eventually after 92 days waiting since Dec 1. This is my second time application under SDS, I almost give up. I am so grateful and thank the Lord. If your application is in process for long time, don’t give up, keep waiting with patience and the result will be good.

@Almoll0006 congratulations on yoir visa approval. Can you please advise what additional documents you have provided ? What was the reason of rejection earlier

The rejection reason was “purpose of visit is not consistent”. Documents provided for the second application were pretty much same as the first one, apart from a new SOP with justification regards to the purpose of visit.

Application Submitted: February 15
Biometrics: February 20
Medical Passed: March 1
PPR: March 7

Got my visa approved in exactly 20 days.

Congratulations to @jakebake, @Newbiechn and @Thrishaa on getting your PPRs!

You guys are the first I see not only being approved, but getting your decisions within 20 days in 2023. I am jealous because my timeline is exactly as yours:

SDS from China
Application Submitted: February 16
Biometrics Updated: February 17

However, there are no updates on our application since.

Has anyone else experienced delays with SDS applications in 2023, especially family applicants?

Congratulations @Jayasurya1909 ! Wow, this is amazing! You are the 5th person I see now on this forum (as I am reading through posts backwards) who has received the decision on their SDS within a month. And I am yet to discover a single person complaining about SDS processing time delays in 2023.

Timeline:-
Application submitted on 27-01-2023
Biometrics completed on 01-02-2023
Medical status passed on 03-02-2023
Biometrics validation Letter on 09-02-2023
Passport submission letter on 14-02-2023
Got my visa approved in 18 days. Try to apply for sds visa since it has less documents to be submitted and also faster processing. If you are attempting for fall 2023 intake just like me , do your visas now because if you leave it to late may , your approval will also arrive late. Thankyou

So, a quick review of this forum for 2023 reveals that there are at least 8 people who got their SDS decision within 20 days and 2 people under 30 days, all approved. One person under 30 days refused. No complains as to the processing time delays in 2023. I am curious, is there anyone out there still waiting with a family SDS application for more than 20 days like me?
