If you have received a mail which gives you your scotia bank account number and all other instructiona for wire transfer you are good to go then. In my case, I transferred the amount after months of receiving wire transfer mail.
Also, please confirm that your name and address (bank account) matches as per your passport, and transfered funds should be in CAD. These are the three major reasons why your wire transfer is rejected. Any mismatch and you will receive you money back which wastes plenty of days.
