Dear everyone.

I had a question that might have been asked before, but i was unable to find a source. So my apologies if this is repeated several times.
In short, my score has increased from 444 to 469, adding 25 points as of July 1st, 2015. This is because my work experience has increased from 1 to two years, technically.
This is where my problem is, i do complete 2 full years of work experience in July, just not on the first of July, but rather the 17th of July.
I don't want to get an ITA in the next couple weeks ( if there is a draw), because at the time of ITA, i won't really have 2 years of work experience, any suggestions?
All answers will be much appreciated.

I don't think that is a problem as CIC consider the experience by months and not days.

This is not an issue my friend as COC count score on monthly basis and not on daily basis. So relax and enjoy as if makes your profile more beneficial in getting into coming cut-offs.

hello Mississauga

My score also increase from 446 to 457 on July 1st for 2 years experience but my start date is August 19,2013, as
everybody says they goes with the month but mine before the month i hope this relates to CIC not my issue they are the one calculating experience anybody have feedback :) :) :P :P :P

Its wierd and the same thing happened to me but my situation a bit different as the system boosted my points for 2 years of Canadian work experience and here is how:

I worked for a company from June 22nd and to August 13th in 2013, so all together it makes 1 month and 3 weeks. Then I joined another company on December 04, 2014 and still working to present, all together 1 year and 8 months. So accumulating experiences from both companies I have 1 year, 9 months and 3 weeks experience but EE is counting it as a 2 years.

It happened to me as well.. got increased by 10 points becaz of exp.

But it s bit strange how come u got 25 point s jump just with one more year added in exp.

And, I think they may calculate only hours not even months / days to count u r exp with 40 hours / week.

I put 35 hrs ( i work 40 hrs/week, but 1 hr break everyday not paid). and i don't know.. its canadian work exp that increased.. with i believe increased skill transferability too.
