SCHOOL RECORDS :PLEASE HELP!

Regarding School Records CIC website says,
Quoterovide photocopies of all your official school records if applicable for the relevant four (4) year period immediately preceding the date of your application, provide.
In addition, provide photocopies of official school records for any children in Canada or abroad who are or were under the age of 18 in the past four (4) years even if you are not applying for Canadian citizenship on their behalf.Unquote
Comments: I want to know whether this refer to periodic (1st term,2nd term and Final) results that the TDSB authority provide to the parents or it is something more than that? Is it OK if I photocopy all the periodical results from grade7 to 10, that my child has been provided with? Or in addition to that I need something more?

You just need to go to your childs school and tell them you need School records for citizenship. They will give you a letter stating that the child had been attending school since xx and would confirm the parents name according to their records.

The letter is NOT enough. The school must provide you with the 4 years report card. Also, if you have end of the year report card, then this is the one to send for the required 4 years.

Quite right. The annual report card is better. That's what I submitted anyways.

They are enough in my opinion. Thats all i submitted (no extra letter). My application is currently in process hence wasn't deemed incomplete.

It's enough. I specifically called CIC to clarify what they ment by the school records. They told me those were quarterly report cards.
