Scholarship for MEng (Course work) for International Students

Hello Guys

I have come up with another question regarding Scholarships for MEng.

1. What is the chance of getting Scholarship for MEng -Course work for International Students in reputed Universities?

2. If the scholarship is based on academics, what is the chance for me getting the scholarship for my Masters?

Secondary (10th) - 96%
Higher Secondary (12th) - 96%
B.E (Electronics and Instrumentation) - 87% (University Rank Holder)
IELTS/TOEFL - Yet to be taken
Experience - 5 years in Industrial Automation

Scholarships are appilcable for MEng or for only MASc and PhD?

I am considering scholarships as most of the top Universities are very expensive and i really wanted to get into a Top University for ECE or Mechanical Engineering.

Scholarships is different from the MaSc as far as what i know.

For a research masters you will support the research of a professor, who in-turn will give you grades for your final year and the university grants you a stipend of 500-1000$. The second year fees is really not applicable for research masters.

To get admitted in MaSc you need a research background, atleast 1 international publication and experience as a researcher. However since your academics is really good you can still try a research course if you are interested in research.

As for MEng, there are private scholarships based on your performance, for example if you have a good GPA in your first year. Though GRE is not compulsory, if you take GRE and get a good score you'll again get some scholarships. Same applies to IELTS if you get a 9 band then you get some money from british council.

the best option to secure a grant or funding is to contact personally, the professor of the universities you wanna apply. just write a comprehensive email highlighting your shining academic records along with your experience and interest. attach your c.v n transcript. the teacher can grant you fellowship or funding for as much time he/she wants. this is the way i secure my funding so i can urge you this.
