Hello Seniors,
My Schengen visa (Italy) was refused in September 2014 and the reason provided was "Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided.". I tried to contact the embassy regarding detailed reasons for rejection but they didn't reply. Since my tickets and hotels were already booked, I tried again after 14 days but got rejected again. This time the reasons for rejection were - "Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided." and "Your intention to leave the territory of the member states before the expiry of the visa could not be ascertained." Also after these rejections, I was able to get a B2 business visa to USA and also travelled to USA.
Now I have the following questions:
1. Should I answer YES to the question - "Have you ever been rejected a visa" or should I skip it? (My gut feeling says I should say YES)
2. If I say YES, then should I write about both the rejections with the reasons as given by embassy or should I refrain from mentioning the reason for rejections?
3. Do the reasons for rejection mentioned above i.e "Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided." and "Your intention to leave the territory of the member states before the expiry of the visa could not be ascertained." account to misrepresentation? (Though I never hid any information from application)
Thanks in Advance for answering.
