hi guys,
I have created my profile and likely to get ITA in next draw. It would be a great help to me if anyone can guide me .
1. My spouse had previous multiple visa rejections ( study visa) for US and canada 10 years back . I know that we need to declare this in statutory questions when asked post ITA. As per my research i got to know that if we answer any of the statutory question as yes , we will be getting the ADR for schedule A. Can we submit this form beforehand . If yes , will it effect the processing of application.
2. If we are submitting it beforehand . Then, Schedule A form will be required just for spouse or it is mandatory for both to submit .
3. I checked the statutory questions also on internet ,where we mention the visa refusals. There are two questions and both the questions are similar , very confusing .
a) Has applicant been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa or visitor or temporary resident visa to canada or any other country ?
b) has applicant ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave canada or any other country?

So , in case of study visa rejection , which to answer yes.

If anyone can throw some light on mentioned points , i will be really thankful.

1. Yes you can provide it upfront. It could help avoid additional processing time due to ADR.
2.It can asked for just spouse, just you, or both. Although it's logical spouse is the one concerned, might as well provide both.
3.Both should be "Yes" for spouse. Don't bother trying to read into the fine wording.

In the letter of explanation placeholder.
For canada rejection , we have letters where we know the reason for rejection , but incase of US we donot have any document with us .Also, we do not know any reason why it was rejected. Although we know about month and year . What should i do in that case ?

You should've received an explanation from US consulate as to why you were rejected.
Just explain that you don't know the reason, as you were not given one. They will look into it anyway, whatever the explanation.
