Should I mention I was taking a 2-months course (that I didn't finish) while I was in Canada on implied status? I ask this because on question #8 they want to know my personal history of what I did age 18 to now.

I'm stressing about this because I know legally I would be able to study in Canada if it was a course 6 months or shorter, but this was when I was all new to this whole immigration fiasco and didn't realized my visitors record prohibited me from studying. I've asked someone about this and she said to not mention such irrelevant stuff, but I'm still unsure. I don't want to withhold information.

Go ahead and mention it. You're legally (from my understanding!) allowed to do a course that is UNDER 6 months. So it's all good, do mention it.

Yes it's fine on implied status. Do NOT lie or "fail to mention" anything on ANY of those application forms. Whether you were legally allowed to do it or not, the consequences of not telling them and having CIC find out after the fact are way worse.
