They say in schedule a to write your history either from the age of 18 OR for the past 10 years.
My 32 year old husband (in Mexico city) put the past 10 years and they emailed saying its' not complete.
They want his history from 18 years old........we are really confused!
Has the schedule been updated or this question changed? I checked the website, and it still shows the Dec 2012 version...which asks for either the past 10 years OR from 18 on.
So do we need another kind of schedule A???? One that's not on the site? lol!
Plus to top it off, he doesn't remember that far back cause he had many small little jobs in those years, and so what do they want him to do if he can't remember?

Even though the question is worded that way (and you were correct in how you answered it), CIC has been know top ask for information back to age 18 in some applicants.

Unfortunately, your husband will need to sit down and think about what he did, and where he was from 18-22...which should be doable. For employment, he may be able to show `various jobs', or `odd jobs', but I'm not 100% certain about that. Probably best to wait for others to offer their suggestions.

Depending on how CIC worded their letter/email to you, simply writing out his information for those years and sending that to them, might suffice.

Or, you could simply ask CIC what they need; a new Schedule A, or just more information to add to the form that they already have.

When they can ask 70 year old parents to explain since Age 18, then 32 is walk in the park - yes, its very much in their rights to ask since Age 18 with dates etc ( its not the form, its their choice ) as some country specific forms have it since age 18 and LVO's work in their own style
So if ur hubby is 32, then he must have provided til 22, just need 4 more years till 18

thanks for the input.
Unfortunatley cic in mexico city wont accept phone calls with questions. And if you email them they take a month to reply.
(no joke, it actually says at least 23 days)
and then if its a question that they refer to somewhere in their website, they simply won't answer it at all. So then you have to go search through the site, and hope to find it somewhere.

If you know of a better way to get answers let me know!

Reply back with that page of schedule A from age 18 to current, don't bother calling them to ask about what form says - its better to provide what they need then question it

It has been rather common these days for them to ask from the age of 18 . My husband is 50 . We went back till the age of 18. Just sit down think about it and send it off asap to avoid delays in your application.
