Hi all -

I'm having trouble validating my Schedule A. I've downloaded the most recent version from the CIC. The issue is:

* Fill out the personal history section
* On row/history item #6, enter "from year" as 2012
* Attempt to validate - it will complain that there must not be any gaps, and highlight the 2012 in red

I can enter "from year" 2012 in item #5. I cannot enter 2012 as the "from year" in row #7.

Any thoughts?!?! I've tried on two computers and starting fresh with blank forms.

Thanks

there needs to be no gaps in dates.

so what is the date listed in line 5?
What are the dates you want to enter in line 6?
What are the dates you are entering in line 7?

If there are any gaps in the months or years, it will not validate.

Thanks for the reply CDNPR2014. Yes, I knew about avoiding gaps in history. There were no gaps.

I did figure it out: there were overlaps (which aren't explicitly disallowed in the instructions, but I should have figured... ::) )

I did a four year undergraduate program and I entered that on one line (2008/08-2012/06). During that time I did a 3-month program abroad, which I entered as another item (2011/09-2011/11).

I am going to separate it out into three separate sections - undergrad, study abroad, undergrad part two.

Hi. I'm having the same problems with overlapping events. Can I ask how exactly you separated the sections and got the form to validate? Or am I going to need to attach a separate word document with the information?
