schedule A background declaration - police certs

hi, i recently received a notification that i will get a request to send the schedule A background declaration form within 5 business days. i have not received anything so far its been 8 bus days since then and nothing, no emails or messages on my cic.

trouble is i sent the schedule A form with my original application via mail, along with police certificates (originals and translations) with the application. so what will happen now? will i have to resend the form and police certs - translations once again?

You just have to wait.

If you sent them with the application, then hopefully CIC will spot these and not ask for them again.

If they do ask for them, you could reply saying you already sent them with your original application then wait for their response (they may want fresh ones depending on how old the original documents were, who knows).

I recommend checking your ECAS online. I checked there and realised that they ahd sent me the requests fro PCCs and Schedule A, but it never showed in mycic account. I called CIC and turns out that their online system had an update and a lot of peopl were not getting messages in their mycic accounts.

So do check ECAS first to see if they did send this. And then give them a call or go to the IRCC webform and let them know that there is a techincal issue.

Its not a different account, but rather another way to check what is going on with your account.
