schedule A and bank statement

do i also need to submit the spouse bank statement and schedule A or only the primary applicant's are enough.

Submit the spouse profile as well. The more money they see which belong to the primary and secondary applicant, the better.

Incorrect.

IRCC wants confirmation for the fact that you have the required funds. Having more money than required makes no difference to the application.
