Schdule A request-was out of status

Hello Seniors ,

I was in canada on work permit which got expired in sep 2015 but i continue to stay in canada for another month then finally came back to home country voluntarily .Basically i was out of status and did not applied for anyother permit in 90 days window.

Should i mention that while filling Schedule A form.

Will it create any issue with my PR Application .

please advice how to fill out the form.

Yes, you definitely need to mention this in the app.

No I did not work illegally . I was under the impression that my work permit was valid till Nov but it was valid till September so I quit my job in September and packed my bag as soon as possible.

What should I do here .

As I said, you need to declare the overstay. It shouldn't have any effect on the PR app.

I became out of status in my country of residence during my PR application process due to my employer couldn’t renew my work permit on time. Will this lead to refusal of my application? Please advice what I could do at this point please
