Scarborough Rentals?

Dear Friends,

We are a family of 5 ...just thinking of looking for an accommodation at Kennedy & Brichmount,Eglinton & Bircmount and Eglinton & Kennedy Intersections. Will be glad to connect with Desis in that locality and to know more about the locality in terms of schooling,safety and Grocery shopping day to day.
How can I get an apartment within first week of landing,as Cargo will come after my arrival there in the month of May 2014.If anyone residing in the above mentioned area,if don't mind please contact me so that I can take their help and support in grabing 2 bedrooms flat.(No relative or friend in Canada )
Apt.should be close to the subway line as I might not be driving and buying car immediately.
Any factory jobs in Scarborough?and wages per hour?because need to fetch an odd job immediately after landing.
Can we lease an apt. for 6 months?
Appreciate feedback and comments....

You can search using websites such as craiglist to find available listings in your interested areas. Also, it is possible to let 6 months - this depends on the individual landlords or agencies - plus you can do it before your arrival while you are in your home country.

I saw your post and concern about moving from home country, There are many guys in the community who can help you to settle in Scarbrough Canada (pickup from airport, look for accommodation, helping with paper works and opening new bank account etc) as per your need. You can opt one of them to be free from all stress.
