Scarborough office / timeline after test

Hi Burfi,

I wrote the test in Scarborough office on December 18. I did not see any child care available.
I saw couples have one other person to take care of the kids.

You can give a call to the Scarborough office or go for a quick visit prior to your test to confirm.
If you do not have the time, the safest bet would be to get someone to look after your child.

Done Test this morning at 9,

OC only checked documents and said we will do final review and send you letter for Oath in 2 to 3 months,

Hope the ECAS changes fast and I get Oath even before that

As you might be aware that, CIC Scarborough is the slowest processing office. Considering you had test on 9th Nov and holidays later.

I assume you can expect good news in few weeks or at the most before end of Feb 2016.

I received the invite to write the test for end of this month at Scarborough.

Can someone please confirm if they have child care available there while parents write the test?

I dont think CIC offer Child care facility at all, either for the test or even during the Oath ceremonies.

what is the current eligibility process? if someone share it will be helpful, I am an indian came here on WP on Feb 2011, became PR holder from 6th Feb 2014, after becoming PR holder went to India for 1 month, rest all the time here in Toronto.

Please guide/share information as when I am eligible for citizenship.

checked the eligibility and it says 2018 july... long way to go... this doesn't include future vacations...

My ECASE status changed to DM in the same date that I passed the interview and test.
I saw some people who did the test in Nov who had already received the Oath letter ....
