BUT THEY FORGOT AUGUST TEST TAKER EVEN THOUGH SOME MARCH TEST TAKERS TOO.

I cannot begin to speculate on CIC's methodology regarding how they process applications.

Well Fellow Scarborough Applicants ,

Today I got the Pink Oath letter in the mail. This confirms it I will be in the Oath ceremony on Friday 13th November at 10:30 a.m. This would mark the end of my journey, ECAS has not updated with the correct date, it had Nov 23rd yesterday when I checked first in the morning then disappeared and after calling the call center was told a letter has been sent out on Oct 27th in the mail. I will continue praying for all here so that all of you get your Oaths as early as possible, This forum has been of immense help from the start of my journey when I lost my COPR to the very end sharing in everyone's collective experience. Overall my journey from the day CIC opened my Application on Feb 2nd till now has taken a total of 9 months and 2 weeks roughly which is beyond amazing from the dark days of 2011 and 2013.

Congrats samreentariq.

im REALLY happy for you! and also really thankful for all your help. keep the rest of us strugglers in ure prayers! i'm anxiously waiting for my letter.

one last question; do u now have 6 lines in ure e-cas? (received/aor/in process/transfer/test/oath)

Hi Vinta,

Thanks for sharing this information..

Just a quick question, does your online status shows DM OR IN-PROCESS STILL

I have made travel plans already on latter part of December 2015 , flight/hotel booked. I'm afraid that I would not be able to apply for a canadian passport prior to my travel time. I normally hear from others that it took 2 months for them to get the appointment ceremony. Some, right after they passed the test. Just like what the officer told me when I asked why some were able to have their oath right after they passed the test: 'Don't compare your application to others as each application is different, if your application was processed sooner than others just be thankful that you did not go through that process' then I Just said your right.
But then again, we cant control everything, we just have to be patient and look for the brighter side of it.
BTW, CIC website says they do update the application every Tuesday, do not rely into that.
My friend's application , she checked her ecas Friday Morning and there were not any updates to her file . Then she checked again in the evening the same day, BOOM!!! , there she have the answer that she have been waiting for. (Check the time line that I shared on my previous post to see the dates)
What surprised me the most was my mom's application. (Check my previous post if you want to see it)

So folks, I know we hate this feeling but we cant do anything but be patiently waiting.

Have a good one.

I think you and me the last ones left from March test takers. Hope next week is the week.
No you guys aren't alone. I'm here too. I passed the citizenship test on March 7th along with my husband. My husband's status changed to DM on the first week of July & mine changed on August 24th. Our 6 years old son's status is still in process. Now I don't check my ecas as I get frustrated every time I check it. I've completely lost hope . By the way they received our application on August 2014.

What is the status that it is showing for you? "In Process" or "DM"?

Decision Made when internal immigration clearance is completed, which is sometimes done before test; yours apparently was done after. Oath is 2-3 months after decision has been made, depending on local office and the individual's case. You and your husband will not be scheduled separately therefore one will delay the other. Scarborough has received more applications this year due to Mississauga's temp closure therefore most applicants will be affected.

Wow lucky mom! I had my test Oct 9, while your mom is 8th and is a May applicant too.

At least you are both DM. Minors status don't get updated. We are still waiting for my wife status to be changed to DM. Our PR card has just expired, too and we have not applied for one thinking that we would be citizen by now.

Thanks for the info. What exactly immigration clearance is?
