I contacted MP of our area on Thursday and I received a response from Constituency Assistant. They want me to drop-in to their office and also sign this consent form. Did anyone else follow the same procedure?

Interesting! When I emailed mine an assistant also got back to me and asked for info like my client ID, address, DOB, phone, etc and he'd call for me. I guess consent was implied as I emailed them asking about my file. It's ok to have the bases covered, I guess. When I got my oath date he also said he'd be in touch with me the day after to see how the ceremony went.

Well, looks like someone is following procedures!
Just fill it up and send it back to your MP's office.

How long does it take for the MP to get back to you. I emailed my MP last week and it went silent >:(

I just sent all the documents they asked for including the consent form. Let's see how it goes. I hope it does not piss off CIC and they purposely delay my file. lol

Hello Everyone,
I’m glad to join this group. I passed the test on Jun 22 at Scarborough office. The interview was positive and the officer informed me that the Oath letter will be mailed to me in 2-3 months or earlier. Waiting continues....

Why did they say 2-3 months? were there any missing entries from your application related to travel?

If you are lucky one you might get Oath soon.

Did you miss any entry? Would you plz share whether you went out of Canada before your application? I did not miss any entry and had a trip of 2-1/2 months out side but applied with more than 1095 days of residency without that 2-1/2 months. I was also said that the oath date would be mailed within 3 months, but nothing yet. Had my test on Mar 06th.

Any April test takers here? I took mine April 1st and still nothing... my friend took test in June and she already has oath... :(

I guess this is a standard waiting time these days. Actually, He mentioned that he had no concern. He said he will need 1-2 days to check my stamps ( the translations that he had it in my file). Hopefully I get the OATH letter soon. :)
