Yeah seriously!

Dont know what is happening to the batch of applicants who had exams on March 10.

Folks, did any one get a oath who had their exams on March 10? Care to share timelines? What was the average between test and oath?

I had mine on March 6th and still waiting 4 oath date. No update.

Wellllll after all that ECAS finally updated to inform me that I will appear and take the oath of citizenship July 8th at 1 pm. Will be calling my MP's office today and tell him nevermind, hahhaha.

So glad - so to those of you who did get CIT0520 - never fret because they are processing them faster. And if you are one day short of citizenship residency I guess it's forgivable enough to not have to have a hearing.

Thanks everyone for all of your support - these forums are great.

Congrats! Scarborough is moving very slowly but surely....

I did my exam and the interview on March 11, still waiting for oath invitation!
I think people who have done the exam after March 20, they get invitation for the ceremony before those who did it in the first half of March.
Any way, they told us 2-4 months, so we have 3 weeks more ::) !

Congrats!
How many days after ecas changed to decision made you got the oath invite update?

Mine changed to Decision Made June 3rd, then went back to In Process June 10th.

I didn't check ECAS all weekend, but this morning around 8 I checked and saw a decision was made - local office transfer still missing, but line 5 read they sent me correspondence June 18th to come take the oath July 8th. :) For whatever reason, my PR application was on there too!

About 20 days I guess - feels like a lifetime. June 3rd, decision made, June 10th, back to in process. Updated today, of course, as I complained to my MP last week and he said he'd call today to look into it - felt like a drama queen emailing him back and being like yeaaaah just kidding it's all good :)

Thank you, guess i have to wait another week.

What do you do if the Constituency Assistant of your MP wants to talk with you on the phone, instead of the MP himself, after you email the MP? Any feedback on what kind of questions can be asked so that I am prepared.....I just dont want to end up saying things that could further hinder or delay my Oath.....

Just be upfront and honest, if you got nothing fishy to hide then there is nothing to worry about that will hinder your oath. If you are worried that your file has been overlooked for oath date then tell them that.
