Love your attitude, hchalz! I agree, trying to plan around an oath ceremony does not work that well. I have heard that the potential oath dates could take as much as 4 months from the test date. I am preparing myself for that! I took my test on March 9th.hchalz said:LOL, maybe one day, CIC should change the policy, and citizenship application is by invitation only, whenever they feel that you are eligible, going from the day you land to the day you die. Perhaps then nobody will ever bother here anymore, and nobody will ever bug them again.
It's summer in Toronto, and it's time to enjoy. As for that pinky letter, my only travelling plans are to the US, so whatever.
No PINKY letters today seems no new ceremoniescecapplied said:HA HA - TRUE - even calling the heldpesk does not yield any updates .. the only key is wait it out now it seems

Based on the current oath schedule and availability, it will be a very long wait for all of us. Unless you are extremely lucky/unlucky.

Well I know that's frustrating. Mine was 2-4 wks, but I do feel indifferent. it's best to be patient and perform your daily activities. As for me I just hope my oath date isn't on the day of my surgery or the period of my recovery.sk1368 said:I had my citizenship test on March 5th and still waiting for the oath invitation. I remember I was told it would take maximum 8 weeks to get that pinky letter but it's been more than 8 weeks now :-[
