It's just a matter they dont update the cic website ontime. In this forum itself we have people having ceremony on May 6th which is not listed in the website.
Mississauga is good in that...daily 2-3 till june.
And i find it so funny - One oath ceremony is happening in the following location ;D

Toronto Pearson International Airport
Address:
Terminal 1, Departures Level Lounge, Aisle Q

That is too funny. So people can get their citizenship and leave immediately . At least they are saving them a trip to the airport.
:)

hah! that airport thing has got to be a joke. is it true? why would they do it there??

LOL. Talk about "applying on the way to the airport" (or in this case, swearing on the ... erm... flight out of the airport?)

6. You became a Canadian citizen on April 27, 2015.

Good luck to all of you.

nice ramah, congrats!!! :)

Anyone here take the test April 1st?

I think Scarborough is giving oath invitation based on the time applicants applied. I had a friend who applied a few months before me but she had her test 1 week after me. She has already attended ceremony and became a citizen. They appear be holding applications intentionally for a few months after test.

I don't think so..

I cannot think of any other reason to give so many test invites but not scheduling oath ceremonies. We have had a number of folks who had their tests on January and mid February and they got their oath letter in the spot. It indicates they do not have to do much on an application if the person passes the test.

I don't think that is the case. Yes, they are intentionally holding the oath ceremonies but we can't seem to know why.

Seems to have slowed down quite a bit, and so does the eagerness to get the letter now :o

Yes, that is what i also observed... Not only oath invites but also test invites... :(

As I said, get on with your life.

CIC is very unpredictable.

CIC is not just about handling the application cases, political agenda might be a major part of their operation as well, aside from many other unknown factors.

We have no control. So before you feel like it's time to go to court (recently there is a successful case actually), live your life normal.

Last year, the breaking news was that it took the government 9 years to built the Lawrence west subway station elevator. I can only imagine how frustrated people there had been for such a long period of time. But again, what could they do?

My friend decided to have her trips as planed, comes to the worst, request to postpone the ceremony.
