Completed 3 months (April 15th test date) after test. Still no news from Scarborough.

My wife passed test on April 7th and it still says in process. I know someone who completed test in July 8th and have already received letter for Oath. Don't understand what their logic is. 100 days passed.

I wrote my test on april 15th still waiting for oath, applied in Dec.
From the trend that is going on, I feel oath invitation are based on the when you applied. Older applications are receiving oath invitations first.

Wrote test on May 19th 2015 and still waiting for Oath . No update on ECAS only in process..Really getting frustrated in waiting without any update while many of them are already Canadian citizens by now who wrote after that.. Officer said its all good during interview

I wrote my test on april 15th still waiting for oath, applied in Dec.
From the trend that is going on, I feel oath invitation are based on the when you applied. Older applications are receiving oath invitations first.

The person I know applied in Late Dec, more than a month after my wife applied so I don't think it is based on application date.

GUYS!! This just got added to my ecas today, I am yet to receive the actual letter:

"We sent you a notice on July 14, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on August 4, 2015 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us..."

Now here is the problem, I MUST be in California for work on the week of Aug 3-7 which really sucks because my oath date is Aug 4th and I will not be around

I called CIC this morning to to see what to do, and they said that I have to write a letter to the Scarborough office along with a letter from my employer confirming that I will in fact be in California for work. CIC will then reschedule my oath date which can then be a few weeks after Aug 4 or even 1-2 months after.

What a mess!

If anyone went through similar situation please share your experience.

I would do the opposite. I would write a letter to your Boss saying that you need to go for your Citizenship Oath.

HI I with my wife appeared for test on May 5th and still waiting for Oath letter.
Looks like 3 months time is normal wait time.
Hope it does not take more than that.

Any 10th March Test Taker out there still. I am still Waiting after 128 Days. Looks like for me it will take 2 Years.
